Good Evening Olympic View Families and Friends!
Emails have been sent to families letting you know your child’s teacher. PLEASE NOTE…if you did not receive an email…
- You registered within the last 3 days and your account in the messaging system is not active.
- You received an email for one child but not the other: There is a glitch that we are working out OR you have two different emails listed for your children. Be sure to check all your active emails. (and junk mail)
- Preschool Students are not active in the system yet. You will be contacted by the teacher.
- Teachers will be contacting parents in the next few days to provide more information.
- The Home Access Center is being updated and you will be able to see teacher name on Aug. 28
- You must register in the Home Access Center with the email we have on file.
- You can also call the office between 8 am – 4 pm to make sure we have an updated email.
Please note, class placement is carefully considered in order to balance classes and needs. No changes will be considered the first two weeks of school.
Your child’s teacher will be contacting you sometime this week if they have not already. If you have not heard from your child’s teacher by Friday, please email lisa.lines@cvesd.org

Monday, August 31 THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2020 – 2021 – DISTANCE LEARNING! Please note that the first week of school daily live interaction with teachers will be no more than 2 hours and those hours may consist of whole group, small group and individual connections. Please note: It is not an expectation at OV that all students will be on a computer screen live with the teacher for 2 solid hours.
If your child’s login account is not active yet, you will receive your materials but not a computer if requested. You will need to come on the 2nd distribution date to be determined.
When coming to pick up materials, please enter the bus loop, taking a right off of S. Greensview. Please stay in your car and wear a mask. Please have sign with your child’s first and last name, grade level and teacher, if you know the teacher’s name. Please be prepared to open your trunk.

survey and who qualify are currently being contacted be contacted. Childcare will begin the week of September 8, and once you confirm, the YMCA will be contacting you.
We are still working on proof of residency. If you have already submitted, you do not need to again.
 It’s time for Residency Verification! In order to attend Camarena School ALL STUDENTS with the exception of incoming Kindergarteners who already registered, MUST provide documentation of residency. Parent Notification
Hi Olympic View Families and Friends!
Thanks for working with us in order to problem solve technical issues. If you did not receive an email, or you cannot log into the Home Access Center, it means either we do not have a current email, or you are trying to create an account with an email we do not have on file. Please contact the office (619-656-2030) to provide, or check what email we have on file. Also, new registration within the last few days are most likely not populated into the system yet.
It is imperative, that whenever your contact info changes, you notify the office.

PLEASE NOTE…if you recently completed registration within the last two days, you may not have received an email because it takes time for the student to become active in the system. If you did not receive an email you can go to the HOME ACCESS CENTER, create your account, and keep checking back for class placement.

Kinder classes have been entered and now we are waiting for it to sync to our school email distribution. You should receive an email on Monday. If you do not, it means we do not have a valid email on file for you and you will need to contact the office.
