ADVANCED KNITTING Club on Thursdays for grades 3-6 and YOGA Club on Mondays for grades 5-6 are on hold for the moment due to low enrollment.
Please note that all students that are participating in clubs must remain on campus the entire time. For example, school is out at 2:45 pm and Crochet Club has a late session, students attending Crochet should remain on campus, enrolled in another club for the time being. Students are not allowed to go home and return anymore.

LEAD Academy for Spring Break
The LEAD Academy Program is offered during intersession (fall, spring, and summer) at no cost to CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Funded through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, LEAD Academy offers various academic and fun enrichment activities, field trips, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks).
*Spaces are limited. The highest priority is given to students identified as “unduplicated” (foster youth, unsheltered, students living in motels/hotels, temporarily doubled up, students in temporary shelters, English language learners, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students). After the highest priority students are registered, additional students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.*
Where is the LEAD Academy Program located? The LEAD Academy Program will be offered at six school sites: Castle Park, Clear View, Cook, Hilltop, Loma Verde, and Sotomayor.
Spring Registration Dates: Friday, February 7- Friday, February 14 ( *Registration opens at 6 p.m.)
Accepted and Waitlist Notification: Friday, March 7, 2025 *Email notification by 6 p.m.
Spring Program Dates: Monday, March 24- Friday, April 4, 2025 (*Closed Friday, March 28 and Monday, March 31, 2025 )
