CVESD LCAP Information

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) wants to hear from you! As part of our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) process, we are hosting an in-person and online forum for families, students, and community members to participate in our annual LCAP survey. The LCAP survey is part of CVESD’s annual efforts to ensure that our resources are being allocated to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

What is LCAP?

The LCAP is a three-year plan that includes specific goals and actions to improve student outcomes and measurable indicators to track progress and outlines how the district plans to allocate resources, including state and local funding. It is an essential component of the Local Control Funding Formula, which requires school districts to create an annual plan that lists goals, defines outcomes, details actions, and tracks expenditures.

The LCAP shapes our District’s goals and guides our budgeting priorities at both the district and school levels. Please join in on the conversation from Feb. 1 through April 1, 2023. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions. Thank you!

It’s Giving Tuesday – a day of global generosity which unleashes the power of people and organizations to transform their communities! As you know our school partners with the South Bay YMCA on campus. They provide a valuable service to many of our families. They also provide scholarships to needy families. That is why I choose to support the Y not only with my time but in my charitable giving. Please join me today in making a gift to the South Bay YMCA to support children, families and seniors.

You can make a donation to my personal fundraising page in just seconds by CLICKING HERE

Every gift makes an incredible difference! Please feel free to share with any of your friends or family as well.

Thank you for not only supporting my efforts to raise funds for the Y, but also giving back to your community! I appreciate you!”
