Dear Golden Eagle Adults. I think we can agree that our children’s safety is our top priority. Please make sure your driving and your action in and around the school reflect that. If one of our students is injured because someone is in a hurry, parks in the middle of the street, drives through the parking lot and surrounding area on a cell phone, it would be devastating. Here are some items that I have discussed with CVPD that they will be on the lookout:
Cars making U-Turns in and near the crosswalk
Drivers speeding through the school zone and parking lot
Drivers on their cell phones
Drivers turning their hazards on and leaving their car unattended in the street
Parents parking in the read zones
PLEASE be polite and patient. We have a small parking lot and not much space. If you would like to volunteer to help in the parking lot/crosswalks, please email lisa.lines@cvesd.org
Thank you to our ELAC and OPTC parent volunteers who made out Valentine’s Dance a success!
