Thur. May 30 – 1st Annual Family BBQ! 11:00 am – 1:15 pm Bring you blankets and lawn chairs and come join your child for his/her lunch and recess.  Mrs. Lines will sign year books.  Please note that younger siblings need to be supervised, and the big toy will be closed.

• Children must be picked up curbside.  Please do not ask your child to come in the street.  We understand this may involve circling around, but your child’s safety is important.  Please be patient.
• Please do not use your cell phone while driving through parking lot.
• Please pull forward into open spaces
• Do not leave your car unattended in drop off zones.
• Please be polite to safety patrol and other adults out keeping your children safe.

Our First Annual OV Family STEAM Night Was a Huge Success!!!!

Thank you to OPTC, Eastlake Educational Foundation, Fleet Science Center, Hands-On-Technology, Robothink, Franklin Covey (Leader In Me) and our teachers for making this event possible!

CAASPP Testing has gone smoothly.  We still have some students that need to make up some testing items.  Please make sure your child is at school.

• Get to school early so your aren’t rushing
• Walk or run the track in the morning to clear your head and get the blood flowing

Testing Reminders

• CELL Phones and Smart Watches will be collected by teachers during testing.
• BE ON TIME each day!  Students who are late will have to do make ups.
• Visitors and/or Volunteers are not allowed in classroom during testing.

Parent involvement is critical for a successful school! Please volunteer as an OPTC officer or a committee chair for 2019-2020 school year. Please note that all officers are required to attend monthly and quarterly OPTC meetings. Per OPTC Bylaws, all candidates for officer positions must be an Olympic View parent/legal guardian, family member or staff.

Dedicated staff and PARENTS help make Olympic View Elementary a great school!  Join us – it’s rewarding, it’s important, it’s even fun!  Nomination Forms are due Tuesday, April 30 to the school office.  You can download a form here.
