September is Attendance Awareness Month! The best indicator of future job stability is school attendance! Students should be at school everyday, on time! Here are some tips:
Pack up backpack the night before.
Have clothes, shoes and socks set out.
Give yourself 10extra minutes and arrive early to school.
Plan vacations, Dr. appointments and Dentist appointments during school breaks.
Arriving late, or leaving early is disruptive to a child’s education.
Last weeks average attendance was 95%. Our goal is 98%

Tuesday, Aug. 23 – Lockdown drill in coordination with District Safety Director and CVPD at 10:45 am. Drills ar part of our safety plan. To return to school they will need to have improving symptoms, be fever free for 24 hours and send covtest4@cvesd.org photo of two negative antigen tests taken twelve hours apart or one negative PCR test.

We meet once a month, on a Wednesday, from 4-5:30 pm. SSC helps make decisions on school safety, and how to spend our funds. We would love to have you! Deadline has been extended!

Do you have time after school to help with the parking lot? We are creating a parent safety patrol. Use THIS FORM to sign up to help. Your child will have a safe place to be after school if you choose to volunteer.
