Our wonderful OPTC does so much to make our school a great place! Some of the things they have provided:
- Teacher grants for classroom supplies
- Shade sail for the lunch arbor
- Marquee
- Water filtration installation
- New playground Peace Path
- Art supplies
- And many wonderful events
This year we will have new projects for parents and students to vote on. Stay Tuned!
Please be sure to continue to follow the COVID guidelines. If your child receives a close contact letter,we HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Please do not send your child to school with COVID symptoms. If your child tests positive with a home kit, or a location other than the district sponsored locations, please report it to the link below:

Please contact covtest4@cvesd.org for a test to return guidance. CVESD is NOT collecting negative results unless 1) you/your child is attempting to release early from isolation after a positive test (before day 11) and 2) your child has Covid-like symptoms. To return to school they will need to have improving symptoms, be fever free for 24 hours and send covtest4@cvesd.org photo of two negative antigen tests taken twelve hours apart or one negative PCR test.

We are actively looking for multiple ways to reconnect with families. One of the ways you can support your child and our school is to nominate yourself to be on our School Site Council. We meet once a month, on a Wednesday, from 4-5:30 pm. SSC helps make decisions on school safety, and how to spend our funds. We would love to have you! Deadline has been extended!
To nominate yourself, you can fill out THIS FORM, Please consider being part of this leadership team.
Do you have time after school to help with the parking lot? We are creating a parent safety patrol. Use THIS FORM to sign up to help. Your child will have a safe place to be after school if you choose to volunteer.
We have many other ways for parent to volunteer!! We are excited to get you back on campus! Please fill out the VOLUNTEER FORM. There are many different opportunities to support our school!

Front Office Deliveries
We are unable to deliver items to classrooms. If a child forgets something at home we will not interrupt the learning of students and bring items to the classes. We can place it in the teacher’s box, but there is no guarantee that the item will be picked up.
