Olympic View is so excited to launch our new Shirt Sponsorship program! Through this program, we will be able to provide an item of spirit wear to EVERY student in our school, while also raising needed funds for our students, staff, and programs this year.The primary component of our Shirt Sponsorship program is our Event Shirts. We are hoping to partner with local businesses to help sponsor these shirts. Their logo or name will be displayed onthe back of the shirt, and worn by every student in our school. Not only will their support bencredibly helpful to Olympic View but it will enable us to support them as a community! If you know of, or are part of, a business that would be interested in becoming a Olympic View Shirt Sponsor, please see the attached Sponsorship Form for more information. Feel free to find your child’s classroom and blacktop number tonight. Students report the the blacktop to their assigned class number. Morning message starts right at 8:15 am. Breakfast and lunch will continue to be provided for free for all students! PLEASE return the LCFF lunch application form within the first week of school, to your child’s teacher. It is in the back to school packet.
Students can be dropped off at 7:30 am (gates open). Breakfast service starts at 7:45 – 8:10 am. Due to change in high school start time, traffice will be a challenge. Get to campus before 8 to beat the worst of the traffic.
PICK UP PROCEDURES
SAFETY:
We would like to ask the adults, in addition to the children, to abide by Safety Patrol Rules. If your child sees you waiting for the Safety Patrol, your child will follow suit. Please help us in preventing jaywalking. Encourage your student to follow safety guidelines. Please do not park in any of the red areas. This is a no parking area, and you will be ticketed. Also, do not leave your car unattended in the yellow zone. PK and K students will be picked up at the PK and Kinder gates. Grades 1-3 should be picked up in the north pick up, and grades 4-6 in the bus loop. If you have more than one child, pick up should occur at the youngest child’s pick-up spot Children should not cross parking lot to get to his/her car. Students should enter and exit car on the passenger side in the drop off/pick up lane. Please do not park in any parking spaces that are designated for staff. Thank you for being polite to other drivers, our staff and volunteers, and the student Safety Patrol, as our children learn from the behaviors that we model.
Remind your child to come directly to the pick up spot and keep an eye out for your vehicle. Please pull all the way forward in open space and do not leave your vehicle unattended. TRAFFIC will be a challenge! Be safe and be kind!
July 19 is our Packet Pcik up Night from 5-7 pm! Come see where your child’s classroom is located s well as their blacktop line-up number. Kona ice will also be here!!
If your residency verification is not complete, you can come by the office to turn in forms in person from 5 pm to 7 pm.

If you are unable to attend packet pick-up, class rosters will be emailed to all families who have a valid email address on file. Be sure to check your spam as it comes from “school messenger.” Lists will also be posted on the window outside the front office on Tuesday at 5pm
Eastlake High School has changed the start and stop times for the 22-23 school year. Eastlake High will start at 8:30 am. This will greatly impact out traffic in fromt of Olympic View as well. I will be working with our safety coordinator as well as CVPD to discuss ways to eleviate the impact. We will need your help and patience in order to keep our students safe. We STONGLY encourage you to drop your child between 7:30 and 8:00 am to avoid highly impacted traffic. Also, considering walking if possible, or carpooling.
