Good Afternoon Olympic View Families and Friends,
The staff and I are excited to welcome our students back on campus! We look forward to seeing our Golden Eagles in person! Safety protocols are in place. The in-person, hybrid instructional model for students will begin on Monday, April 12. We cannot wait to welcome our students back for in person instruction!
Principal Lines will be hosting a Re-opening Community Forum on Thursday, Mar. 25 from 5:30 – 6:30 pm. We will be going over

schedules, safety, ingress and egress and classroom protocols. This meeting will be recorded.
During parent teacher conferences, teachers will be confirming parent preference as to whether they wish for their child to attend hybrid learning or continue with distance learning (if you are changing your preference from Distance to in person, it is not guaranteed but based on availability) when we return on April 12th. The Monday-Thursday and Friday hybrid schedule is below as well as the DLSP in the YMCA schedule.

LCAP Thought Exchange
The Chula Vista Elementary School District invites you to contribute to “ThoughtExchange,” our interactive survey, which helps us understand what is working well and how we can improve. Your input is key to guiding our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP), a three-year plan that describes the District’s goals, actions, services, and expenditures that support positive student outcomes.

about the LCAP necessarily revolve around resource allocation and target students’ classroom learning opportunities—particularly those of English Learners, students of poverty (including homeless), and foster youth. School districts such as ours receive additional funding based on the number of low-income, English learner, and foster youth that we serve. Development of our plan is dependent on the input of stakeholders that include students, parents, staff, employee representative groups, and community organizations.
Please take a few minutes to respond to open-ended questions about what we’re doing well and where we can improve in our goals, actions and services. If you have not already done so, please click here to access.
