Dear Olympic View Families and Friends:
We hope this message finds you and your family well. Our school main office is open business from 7:45 AM- 4:00 PM, daily. At this time, important business matters include annual verification of student residency and return of borrowed laptops/hotspots from last school year.
All returning families received an email notification from PowerSchool to renew annual verification of student residency. Please anticipate contact from the Olympic View Office Team for any follow-up on incomplete or missing paperwork. Find your email from PowerSchool to update your student’s residency verification. Verification of student residency is required for enrollment, However, this year parents will be given a grace period.
On July 19, parents will receive email notification of teacher and classroom assignments for the 2021-2022 school year. The first day of school will be July 21, a minimum school day, 8:15 AM-1:15 PM for grades 1 – 6. Kinder parents, you will receive information from the Kinder team soon. District Superintendent, Dr. Francisco Escobedo, will be hosting a Virtual Town Hall meeting on Thursday, July 15, at 6:00 PM, to discuss the start of this school year. Please find this meeting by visiting www.cvesd.org and clicking on the meeting link displayed on the webpage banner.
At this time, students and school staff will be required to wear masks when working and meeting indoors. Mask wearing will not be required when outdoors. Physical distancing of students is not required at this time. Parents will not be permitted to come on to campus aside from TK and Kindergarten parent escorts and morning drop-offs.
