If your children are at Olympic View on a Zone Transfer, please be sure to stop by the office to renew your transfer for the 2020-2021 school year as soon as possible.
ELPAC TESTING
Is your child an English Language Learner? Did you know that all our English Language Learners will be participating in the ELPAC assessment this month? ELPAC stands for the English Language Proficiency Assessment for California. You can take a practice test with your child here: ELPAC Practice Tests. Please ensure your children are well-rested, well-fed, and prepared to show all the English they know on the ELPAC assessment.
Please view letter in English and Spanish from the Superintendent regarding temporary updates to our Health Office procedures.
Parents can now access their student score reports for the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (CAASPP) and English Learner Proficiency Assessments for California (ELPAC). Go to http://www.cvesd.org, Parents tab, My Child’s School, Home Access Center or click Register.
2020-2021 KINDER REGISTRATION
Wednesday, February 19 – Registration begins for the 2020 – 2021 school year for Kindergarteners who will turn 5 years old on or before September 1 and new students in grades 1-6. Registration packets will be available in the school office beginning February 5.
The Chula Vista Elementary School District, the San Diego County Fair and Magic 92.5 FM will launch a Student Attendance Campaign on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 through May 4, 2020. Each student who has perfect attendance during the contest period will receive one free ticket to the San Diego County Fair!
