We’ve been working on a new platform called Jumbula, it’s an online registration system design to simplify the management of our program, and it will be the new way to register for clubs. Here’s the link to register for Q1. You’ll be placed on a waitlist and as soon as the program reviews your application it’ll send a confirmation email. https://leadolympicviewelementary.jumbula.com/ We’re working on putting more clubs together very soon! Let me know if you have any question.

At Olympic View, we follow a placement process that maximizes both positive academic and social experiences within the classroom. It is our commitment to place all children in an optimized learning environment where they will thrive and reach their fullest potential. Our goal is to create equitable and balanced classrooms environments that ensures the success of all students. The assignment of students to classes is a collective effort made by teachers and school administration. Decisions for class placement are student-based using the following criteria: gender ratio, range of academic levels, language proficiency, past interactions, teacher’s knowledge, and special needs of students. Due to the delicate nature of creating equitable classes, we will not make any classroom adjustments at this time.

The LEAD Hub, formerly the DASH and STRETCH programs, is free for CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. It offers a range of enriching before-school and after-school programs designed to enhance the learning and development of Chula Vista Elementary School District students.
In response to the high demand for the LEAD Hub Program, we are updating the registration process to make it more accessible and convenient for families. We are in the final stages of developing a new online registration platform, which will be available on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 6 p.m. You can access the registration form by clicking here.
LEAD Hub will be on the 180-day calendar. The hours will vary by school site and depend on the school’s start and end times.
How are students selected?
All LEAD Hub applications will be reviewed by LEAD and YMCA staff. Each program has a maximum number of students who can be served based on the grant amount allotted per school site. Students will be enrolled based on the rating system detailed below, up to the capacity for each school’s program. Once the program has reached its capacity, students not accepted for participation will remain on the waitlist and be accepted as space becomes available.
Priority will go to students who are identified by the program as homeless youth, as defined by the federal McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (42 U.S.C. Sec. 11434a), at the time that they apply for enrollment or at any time during the school year, and to students who are identified by the program as being in foster care.
If the program receives more applications than the spaces available, the applications with the most points will be given priority for participation. In cases where a determination must be made between two or more applications with the same points, selection for acceptance will be based on the date of submission of the completed applications. For priority enrollment, the attendance policy will be strictly enforced.
Application Point System:
Application Point System

6 Points
