LEAD Academy for Spring Break
The LEAD Academy Program is offered during intersession (fall, spring, and summer) at no cost to CVESD students in transitional kindergarten through sixth grade. Funded through the Expanded Learning Opportunities Program, LEAD Academy offers various academic and fun enrichment activities, field trips, and meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks).
*Spaces are limited. The highest priority is given to students identified as “unduplicated” (foster youth, unsheltered, students living in motels/hotels, temporarily doubled up, students in temporary shelters, English language learners, and socioeconomically disadvantaged students). After the highest priority students are registered, additional students will be registered on a first-come, first-serve basis.*

VESD LCAP Information

The Chula Vista Elementary School District (CVESD) wants to hear from you! As part of our Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) process, we are hosting an in-person and online forum for families, students, and community members to participate in our annual LCAP survey. The LCAP survey is part of CVESD’s annual efforts to ensure that our resources are being allocated to meet the needs of our diverse student population.

For more information, please visit our LCAP district page or look below at the LCAP Parent Guide for more information. We look forward to hearing from you!

In our continued effort to provide a safe environment for all, please adhere to the district’s new policy. After morning message, if you are not a registered volunteer, you must promptly leave campus. If you arrive late with your child to school, you may not enter campus to walk them to class. A staff member will assist when necessary. If you would like to eat lunch with your child for a special occasion, you must first clear it in advance with adminitration. Thank you for your understanding.

Olympic View collaborates with the South Bay YMCA, which offers essential services to many of our families. Through their scholarship programs and your help, the Y is able to help those in those most need in our community.
