Monday, August 31 THE FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR THE 2020 – 2021 – DISTANCE LEARNING! Please note that the first week of school daily live interaction with teachers will be no more than 2 hours and those hours may consist of whole group, small group and individual connections. Please note: It is not an expectation at OV that all students will be on a computer screen live with the teacher for 2 solid hours.
For Our AM/PM Preschool students, you will receive your schedule Tuesday.

When coming to pick up materials, please enter the bus loop, taking a right off of S. Greensview. Please stay in your car and wear a mask. Please have sign with your child’s first and last name, grade level and teacher. Please be prepared to open your trunk, and wear a mask.

Childcare is limited and OV has only been alloted 36 spots. Families who completed the
survey and who qualify will be contacted this week and childcare will begin the week of September 8.
We are still working on proof of residency. If you have already submitted, you do not need to again.
 It’s time for Residency Verification! In order to attend Camarena School ALL STUDENTS with the exception of incoming Kindergarteners who already registered, MUST provide documentation of residency. Please note that California Compulsory Education Law requires everyone between the ages of six and eighteen years of age to attend school, except sixteen- and seventeen-year-olds who have graduated from high school or passed the California High School Proficiency Exam (CHSPE) and obtained parental permission to leave. Good morning,
We have already sent the necessary documents for you to register Max in 5th grade, I guess you got them already, if you need me to re-send it, please let me know and I will do it right away. I spoke to the school two weeks ago to report that we would finally be settling into our house in Chula Vista on October 14th. They told me that Max can start studying online *only* when we are installed there. Could you confirm it? Thank you very much, we look forward to beginning to be part of the Olympic View family.
