Monday, October 15 – 19 – Red Ribbon Week.  Monday is the kickoff to Red Ribbon Week.  Here is the schedule for our Golden Eagle Spirit Days:

**Please note that on Tuesday and Wednesday, School uniforms are still required with crazy hair and crazy socks.  

Monday, October 15 -16 –  Height and Weight Measurements for grades K-6

Our Amazing OPTC is gearing up for our Annual Golden Eagle Fall Festival, on Friday, October 26 from 4:30 to 8:00 pm.  They are working hard to ensure our families have an amazing time!

Monday, Oct. 15 through Wednesday, Oct. 17 will be wristband presales.  Get a discounted price on each wristband you purchase.  This is a limited time offer and will end on Wednesday, or when the first 100 wristbands are sold!

Wednesday, October 17 – Fall Picture Make Ups- Wear uniform.

Wednesday, October 17 – Rights and Responsibilities Assembly for grades K-6

Friday, October 19 – Safe Routes to School.  Meet at Sunset View Park by 7:45 am

Friday, October 19 – Public Safety Day – Community Safety Agencies such as CVPD, Sheriff, Fire Dept. and others will be at school from 9 – 11 am on the blacktop.  Students will be able to talk with workers, see equipment and learn about the various public safety jobs.  Families are welcome to attend during the events.  If you want to attend with your child’s class, please refer to the following schedule.  If you stay after 11 am, you must come back to the office to get a volunteer/visitor badge.

Stations will be set up on the blacktop:
9 – 9:30 am – Kinder and 1^st
9:30 – 10:00 am – 2^nd and 3^rd
10:00 – 10:30 am – 4^th and Parris and Musolf
10:30 – 11:00 am – 6^th and Gagielo and Umali

Our Military Partners will also set up 4 stations in the auditorium regarding alcohol, cigarettes, and e-cigarettes.  These stations will be for 4-6 graders only.  Here is the schedule:

8:30 – 9:05 am – 4^th grade
9:05 – 9:45 am – 5^th Grade
9:45 – 10:25 am – 6^th Grade
